Bistro Na Kantridi

"I came to this café on a rainy day in October. The waves were big the wind was blowing the rain horizontally. I found refuse in this cozy place. The staff was friendly, and I ordered a cup of coffee and realized they also served food. Being located next to the stadium, they most likely have a lot of people joining football matches. I would definitely recommend this place which has big open space large tables, and a Seaview over the container ships in the harbor and the mountains stretching south towards Istria. I did have a soup, however, I was not impressed. It definitely lacked creativity and taste."

"The food was great, we ordered mixed meat for two, as it was a huge portion we couldn't finish it so we asked to pack the rest and bring it home. After the lunch, we ordered cake and coffee which also has high quality and was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All and all we are so persuaded with this Restaurant."

"Excellent in any segment: food, location or staff - everything! We ordered fish platter for two persons - and I highly recommend it! You get a number of fish options in the platter incl. Fried calamari, seabass, tuna etc The portion is enough for more than two persons (we were two adults and a 7 yo child and we were full to the top!) and the fish is fresh, perfectly grilled and tasteful! The location is perfect, nice sea view from the terrace and a big free parking lot in front of the bistro. The pancakes were HUGE and probablly stuffed with nutella more generously than we would fill them at home ourselves! The staff was fast and professional. We will come back for sure - there is more food to try (pizzas looked nice) :)) UPDATE: we returned the next day and ordered a meat platter for two. It was again enough for three persons. We actually ate the leftovers the next day too :) Grilled vegetables and rump steak were perfect, the rest of the meat was also delicious but average. All in all, excellent value for money since the platter cost is 230 HRK."

"We came with friends on recommendation. Place is great. Location near the sea with great view. Restaurant is located beneath old stadium KANTRIDA and the name is the same like the stadium name. They have fish and meat menu. Everything is very delicious. Waiters are very professional. Food is great and the most important thing prices are really great."

"I ordered a Sesame-Tuna-Steak with mediterran potatoes and it was excellent. The tuna was perfectly medium, the potatoes had a really crispy taste and the sweet soy sauce was veery good!! Also the Service from Mia was an overall great experience - she was very friendly, had an answer to all my questions and also recommended an awesome chocolate cake to me. I would totally recommend eating at the Bistro Na Kantridi !!"
